Introduction to botany, including the diversity, classification, morphology, anatomy, physiology, ecology, and evolution of plants, fungi, algae, and cyanobacteria. Topics relating to flowering plants stressed. Correlation of topics with scientific method and modern biological research. Field trips may be required; transportation will be provided.
