The instructor will then supervise as students demonstrate how to raise and lower a 24’ extension ladder for a given scenario, i.e., raise ladder to a 2nd story window for a rescue. Lecture: The instructor will facilitate classroom discussion on the firefighter capstone certification testing process and how the process works. Students will recite the process. The instructor will lecture on how to access and use a firefighter skill testing sheets on donning personal protective equipment from the State Fire Training web site. Students will each download the assigned skill sheet and demonstrate how to don personal protective equipment based on the steps indicated on the skill sheet.
