A broad and general exploration of Queer Theory as an historical consequence of Feminism and Gay and Lesbian Studies. Emphasis on theoretical and philosophical underpinnings of Queer Theory, Social Construction versus Essentialism, Postmodernist theory, politics, LGBT Studies and Queer Culture.
